Just like it sounds, this REMIX is a collection of KSR chants ‘Remixed’ by a handful of talented electronic music producers/DJ’s, including Srikalogy (Srikala Roach), Duke Mushroom, DJ Hip Sockit (Aaron Brando) & Nur Habib (Nur Tiven), tm.pOMpey (otherwise known as our amazing drummer Terrence Pompey), theotone (Tony Jarvis) and our very own Todd Keller. This album is a uniquely modern blend of soul-stirring vocals, 3 part harmony and guitar-driven funk combined with Sanskrit mantras and original music set to a backdrop of danceable electronic grooves. Spanning multiple genres, “Remix” is a refreshing offering from a group truly making its mark in the kirtan/world music scene.

KSR at Wanderlust Stratton
We were so excited and honored to be invited to share the KSR love this summer at the amazing Wanderlust Festival in Stratton, VT! We collaborated with lovely kirtan wallah Adam Bauer at the Speakeasy on June 21 from 5-7 for an evening of Bhakti love. Participants had a chance to taste the nectar of the Bhakti path, feel how it integrates our spiritual and material sides into a harmonious whole, and experience how easy and nourishing it can be to bring a deeper devotional current into their own daily yoga practice. The evening included a dharma talk and call and response chanting with live band. Presented in Collaboration with The Call and Response Foundation.

KSR at Berwick Yoga Festival in Nova Scotia, Canada
We were so excited to be invited back to our home away from home in the beautiful woods of Nova Scotia to share the KSR love at one of the sweetest, most love-filled events ever. A beautiful weekend of jamming, teaching workshops and connecting with beautiful community. Until – Hurricane Aurthur came right through the little town of Berwick! KSR at Ahimsa Yoga Festival
This fall, KSR was blessed to be a part of Ahimsa Yoga Festival in Windham, NY. Not only did we get to rock out during our own set with the beautiful talents of Owen Landis on drums and Danny Solomon on bass, but we got to support some of our favorite musicians on stage. A beautiful line-up of musicians in a beautiful setting, culminating with a stellar all-star jam during David Newman’s set!
This fall, KSR has been busy making music with some new and old friends. Helen, Todd and Calia lent vocals to forthcoming records by beautiful kirtan wallahs Devadas and Lee Harrington/Miribai.
